Breathing in Cyberspace, a cyberpunk vaudeville devised by Sylvie Bissonnette, proposes poetic dialogues between performers, avatars, and the filmic space. This multimedia performance examines questions related to desire and identity, both in the early modern era and in our contemporary technocultural world. Magic encounters, cyber zombies in computer games, and Internet avatars compete for the last molecule of air in the virtual society of spectacle.
